Senior Interaction Designer · Art Director

Deseret Book is where I grew the most as a designer. I learned the value of a close creative team, expanded my skills across digital and print, and developed habits that continue to shape how I work today.

Across Deseret Book and its family of brands, I designed websites, email campaigns, digital experiences, and printed materials. I continually tested and refined the work to make it clearer, more useful, and more engaging for customers.

A few years into my time there, I was trusted with art direction and creative leadership. I guided junior designers and contractors, collaborated with the larger creative team, and helped develop campaigns, television and radio spots, and interviews with authors and artists. This experience taught me how to set expectations, guide others, and protect the quality of the work.

Deseret Book showed me that great work comes from people who care about the work and each other. When the creative and marketing teams became smaller, we stayed resourceful and continued producing meaningful, effective campaigns. I also gained hands-on production knowledge, from print specifications and paper choices to building strong relationships with printers and outside vendors.
