Senior Digital Designer · Team Lead

Joining Mountain America Credit Union was an important step in my career. It gave me opportunities to contribute across marketing, internal communications, digital experiences, and campaign strategy while building strong relationships with a talented team.

As a Senior Designer, I led digital and print campaigns from concept through launch. My work included landing pages, email marketing, digital advertising, branch materials, photography, and user experience needs across the company. I also mentored junior designers and helped maintain brand standards and creative expectations.

Working across departments helped me become a more strategic and collaborative designer. I learned how to present ideas to stakeholders, coordinate photographers and talent, gain executive approval, manage production details, and carry a campaign through quality assurance and final launch.

I also continued leading the company's SharePoint employee portal, which I originally designed as a contractor. Through employee feedback, user testing, and reporting, the portal evolved into a more useful resource for internal communication.

Working in the financial industry taught me how to balance creative ideas with business goals, risk, and measurable results. By using testing, technology, and performance data, I was able to support new approaches and create campaigns that improved engagement over previous years.

Most importantly, MACU showed me how company pride and strong working relationships can shape better creative work.
